Protein - Its functions include : transport and storage molecules, controls growth of different things like bones, enzymatic catalysts


Protein can be obtained through things foods like : meats, cheeses, dairy, eggs, fish etc.










Lipids - Its functions include : waterproofing things, storing energy, cushioning



Lipids can be found in fats or oils.  Healthy lipids like olive oil, is good for you.














Carbohydrates - Its functions include : prevents constipation, encourages the growth of healthy bacteria, stores energy

Carbohydrates are not only found in grains, but also vegetables










Vitamins - Its functions include :
A : maintains healthy bones and teeth
B : helps form red blood cells, maintains brain functions, helps metabolism
C : wound healing, healthy teeth and gums
D : healthy teeth and bones, helps maintains proper blood levels
E : plays important role in the formation of red blood cells
K : helps blood stick together
