Geographic Distribution Blog

Geographic Distribution forces the organisms to adapt to their specific locations.
Examples - Some turtles need longer necks in where they're living.

The finches on the different islands adapted their beaks to whatever environment they were living in.  The picture shows Darwin's depiction of the Finches' beaks.  It started very large but it progressively became smaller and less lethal.

The giraffes' necks  were not always as long as they are now.  Their necks started out average but as the trees grew taller, they had to adapt.  Naturally, their necks became longer because their environment required long necks to eat leaves off of trees.
