From playing the game, I learned that going entirely solar was not the best choice. Although it was great for the environment, it was a hard hitter on the economic side. On my second run, I decided to use more wind powered energy sources which was more beneficial in the long run because it kept the money to a medium, not a high. In the end, I kept everything at medium and my ranking doubled from my first try to second (~400,000 place to ~200,000 place in one extra try). This is related to ecology because it helps to inform people about facts relating to the Earth. We all have to do little things that will eventually allow us as humans to preserve Earth for a long time. This game helped me to understand that balance is everything; having things that are super environmentally superb is often times crazily expensive.
