Transcription, Transcription, and Protein Synthesis Blog

1. start with DNA
2. turned into RNA

3. amino acids to protein

Protein Synthesis is a process where proteins are made by the cells in the body.  The process includes the transformation of DNA --> RNA --> Protein.  It happens through transcription & translation.  Transcription takes place in the nucleus & it copies DNA.  The copied DNA then gets turned into RNA.  Translation occurs in the cytoplasm where there are ribosomes.  The RNA from Transcription gets made into amino acids.  The amino acids turn into protein.
